Open the "DOS" prompt and go to C:\. Dir, and you won't see hiberfil.sys, pagefile.sys, only config.sys. I suspect that other hidden system files are still hidden in the command prompt, too. Regards, Lorenzo Have you noticed that, after fixing all the hidden file crap that MS foists on us by default, the commmand prompt (or the lousy excuse for one) that comes with Vista, STILL won’t show certain system files? Open the “DOS” prompt and go to C:\. Dir, and you won’t see hiberfil.sys, pagefile.sys, only config.sys. I suspect that other hidden system files are still hidden in the command prompt, too. This sucks. Any known cures?

I have read the above useful Guides quite some time ago. Recently I followed your instruction & successfully installed a dual booting XP/Vista in my computer.
However, the default booting in the bootup screen is always a Vista first. How could I changed the default booting to XP, so that when I switch on the computer I can leave it to bootup in XP unattended?
