Add or Delete Items from your Send-to Menu
- 2 Comment
The Sent-To menu is accessed when right clicking a file or folder and gives you the opportunity send it to another place. Sometime this menu gets crowded with shortcuts and you may want to clean it up. Or maybe you would like to add a new folder to it. First you need to navigate to the send to folder, and here’s how.
- Open an Explorer window. either clicking the little computer icon in your quick launch area or clicking the Start Orb and typing Explorer and choosing Windows Explorer.
- In Windows Explorer, navigate to C: Users “your username” AppData Roaming Microsoft Windows SendTo.
- You will see all the shortcuts in the folder for each item in the Send To menu. To remove an item you don’t want anymore delete the shortcut from the folder.
- To add additional items right click an empty area in the SendTo folder and click New > Shortcut and the new shortcut with the wizard will open, Click Browse and navigate to the new folder you want to use then click next, Name your new shortcut and click finish.
