Actually the reason I googled this is for the same thing. I'm able to view most windows side by side, but when I try to view an office document and an IE window it is greyed out. Whats up with that?

The reason I googled this is because I've known how to do it for years, but it somehow doesn't work now that I'm using Vista.

The options to show stacked or side by side are grayed out.
