How to Open Multiple Instances of Regedit at the Same Time in Vista

editors

If your comfortable working in the windows registry wouldn’t it be nice to have multiple editors open at the same time, you could one open to make your changes and another to see how it was configured before you changed everything or for whatever reason you want.

Well If you ever tried to open more that one at a time you know windows just won’t let you, until now. Here’s the secret.

Open Regedit the way you normally do then click the Start Orb > Run, then type  regedit /m in the run dialog box  then Ok, approve the UAC if prompted and another instance if registry editor will open, do it again and you’ll have another and another.
