How to Adjust the size of your Desktop Icons in Vista

desktop So Here’s a good scenario, someone was using your computer and when you went to use it again all your desktop icons are now real small or great big. What going on you say how do i get them back to the perfect size I like them. Or maybe you just want them bigger or smaller. Here’s how.

Well if you have a scroll mouse and you probably do, just click an empty space on the desktop and then hold down the CTRL key. Then rotate the scroll wheel up or down to make the icons bigger or smaller.

If you don’t have a scroll wheel, mouse here’s another way.

  1. Right click the desktop and choose Personalize .
  2. Click Window Color and Appearance,
  3. Click Open Classic Appearance Properties For More Color Options.
  4. Now in the Appearance tab, click the Advanced button, choose Icon from the drop- down Item box, and use the up and down arrows in the size box to make the icons look just the size you want.
  5. Click Ok twice and your all set.

You can also change many other options here so give it try.
