Keep Vista From Asking For A Password After Resuming From Sleep Mode

If you use Vista’s sleep mode you know that when you wake from sleep mode you are prompted for your password, If you aren’t too concerned about someone else accessing your computer you can disable this feature. Here’s how.
- Click the Start Orb and type in Power.
- Click Power Options under the Programs results.
- In the left task area click Require a password on wake up.
- If your options for changing password protection on wake up are grayed out, click the Change settings that are currently unavailable link.
- If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
- Now click the Don’t require a password radio button and save your changes.
Now you won’t be prompted to type in your password when resuming from sleep.
