Generate A System Diagnostic Report In Windows Vista

finder The System Diagnostic Report is one of the most useful utilities I found yet in Windows Vista. Get ready for a flood of information from the handy report. Here’s how.

  1. Click the Start Orb and type Performance in the Search Bar.
  2. Click Performance and Information tools in the results.
  3. In the Tasks pane choose Advanced tools.
  4. Click Generate a System Health Report.
  5. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
  6. The Systems diagnostic’s will now take a few minutes to gather information and present you your report.
  7. Now just click one of the tabs to get all the reports you could want about your computer.
