Change The Way Internet Explorer 7 Opens Pop-up Windows

By default IE 7 opens all pop-ups in a new window but you can change that behavior to open them in a new tab if you prefer it. Here’s how.

1. Open IE7.
2. Click Tools > Internet options.
3. Under the General options, look for the Tabs section and choose Settings.
4. Under When a pop-up is encountered choose your preferred method.
5. Click Ok twice when finished.
