Using A System Restore Point
Yesterday we created a System Restore point. Today we’ll use that restore point to roll our system back to an earlier date.
Click Start > type in system restore.
Click System Restore in the top Programs area.
Click Continue on the UAC if prompted.
Click next.
Select the Restore point you want to use. Normally you would choose the one before you started having problems, but not too far back. If the one you choose doesn’t fix the problem you can always go back further later. Click next.
If you have more than 1 hard drive installed you will be asked to confirm which disk to restore. Click next.
Here you will be asked to confirm the restore point you choose. Click Finish. System Restore will now restart your computer and restore it to an earlier date you choose. And that’s all folks.
