How To Delete Your IE7 Temporary Internet Files

Internet Explorer 7 stores copies of all of the images of web sites you visit all the cookies you receive, media you may have viewed, passwords you may have used  and the data you entered on web forms. If you are the only person that uses your computer and have that might not be a problem, but if you have multiple people using your computer you may not want to delete some or all of this stored info. Here’s how.

There are two ways to accomplish this.

Way # 1 This gives you more control over what gets deleted than Way # 2

In IE 7 Click > Tools > Internet Options

1

In the General Tab > Browsing history > click Delete…

2

On this page you can choose what info you want to delete, or you can choose Delete all.

3

 Way # 2

The other way to delete your Temp files is Click Start > type “Disk” in the search box then click Disk Cleanup under Programs.

4

The program will now see how much space you can free up.

5

On this page you can choose what you want to remove.

6

As you can see this way gives you less options on what gets deleted. Its up to you which option you want to use.
