Changing Vista’s Appearance Settings

Are you tired of the default look of
- Right click an empty area on your desktop and choose Personalize.
- Click Windows Color and Appearance.
On this screen you can change the Color of your windows. Choose the color you like then Enable or disable Transparency or adjust the color intensity, or you can also make a custom color by opening the Show Color Mixer and adjusting the sliders. When you’re finished just click Ok.
For more options you can click ”Open classic appearance properties for more color options” Here you can choose
I like the Aero scheme but some people prefer the other looks that are available, give them all a try.
When you click the Advanced tab you can change just about every aspect of your desktop look by clicking Item and scrolling thru the different items, but be Careful you can also mess things up.
